Planning the visit
Goseokjeong is stop 3 of 7 on the Prehistoric Landscape Route.
The stamp is not at the site itself but at the Tourist information center at Goseokjeong, so check the opening hours of that building rather than the site.
The two closest stamp points are Hwajeongyeon, 13 km away, and Bidulginang Falls at 14 km. All three fit into one day.

What the campaign says about it
Goseokjeong, one of the “Eight Scenic Views of Cheorwon,” is a granite rock formation in the Hantangang Valley in Jangheung-ri, Dongsong-eup, Cheorwon-gun. In the middle of the Hantangang River, a massive rock roughly 10 meters tall rises above the clear water. It also has a pavilion built during the reign of King Jinpyeong of Silla. This pavilion and the entire valley around Goseokbawi are collectively called Goseokjeong. Goseokjeong is said to have been the place where King Jinpyeong of Silla and King Chungsuk of Goryeo once visited and spent time enjoying the nearby scenery. Goseokjeong is also the best example of the geological unconformity created between the granite, the bedrock of the Hangtangang River Valley, and basalt. The area is highly valuable as a geological and topographical resource. You can learn about topography before the formation of the basalt lava field and how the basalt lava flowed over the bedrock to form the lava field. The granite bedrock was covered with basalt lava flows by volcanic activity that occurred between roughly 540,000 and 120,000 years ago when the bedrock was pushed to the surface. Over time, the basalt layer was eroded by the Hantangang River, exposing the granite bedrock once again and creating new waterways as a result.
