What the campaign says about it
The Hantangang River Geopark Center is the first museum in Korea built specifically for a geopark. You should absolutely visit the Geopark Center if you plan on spending time near Hantangang River. It gives you a chance to learn about the geology, history, archaeology, ecology, and cultural resources of Hantangang River. Facilities at the Center include an exhibition hall, a special exhibition hall, “4D valley escape” ride, an outdoor ecological playground, and a geological elevator. According to UNESCO's definition, a geopark is “a single, unified geographical area where sites and landscapes of international geological significance are managed with a holistic concept of protection, education, and sustainable development.”

Getting there
Get off at Cheongnyangni station on subway line no. 1 → Take bus no. 3200 at the Cheongnyangni Station Transfer Center (platform no. 2) → Get off at the Sineup 7-tong. Pocheon Chukhyup bus stop → Walk to the Shin-eup 7-Tong/IBK bus stop, then take bus no. 53 → Get off at the Hantangang River Geopark Center bus stop
