What the campaign says about it

Sanbangsan Mountain is a bell-shaped volcano that stands tall on flat ground, and unlike other volcanoes in Jeju-do, it has no crater at the top. Along with Hallasan Mountain and Seongsan Ilchulbong, Sanbangsan is considered one of the three scenic mountains in Jeju-do. It also has a sea cave called Sanbanggul on a cliff in the southwestern part of the mountain. Meanwhile, on the top of the mountain, there are plants that grow in warmer climates, and on its rocky cliffs are Japanese cinnamon trees, Actinodaphne lancifolia trees, Cleisostoma, and Dendrobium. Designated as the Jeju Sanbangsan Mountain Rock Cliff Plant Zone, this area is home to a variety of rare plants, which makes it an important resource for academic research. Sanbangsan Mountain Rock Cliff Plant Zone Sanbangsan Mountain is a volcano located to the west of Hwasun Port in the southwestern part of Jeju-do.
